ABILENE: Robert Edwin Martin Sr., aged 70, passed away on November 24, 2021, in Abilene, Texas.
Robert was born in Gallup, New Mexico on April 13, 1951, to Lena and William Martin.
He spent his life working in construction and enjoyed the outdoors, especially being out on the lake fishing or in the mountains.
He was very proud of his service in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam era.
Robert is survived by his three sons, Robert Jr. (Bobby), Stephen, and Thomas; as well as seven grandchildren, Joshua, Dylan, Christian, Caleb, Austin, Emily, and Ian.
Memorial services will be held at Santa Fe National Cemetery on April 8, 2022, at 12:45pm.
