Rachel Gay Finch

Rachel Finch passed from this life on Monday, April 13, 2026. A vistitation will be held at Fry-Smith Funeral Home in Tuscola, Texas on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 from 5-7pm.

Rachel Gay Finch was born in Dallas, Texas and adopted by Bill and Patricia Davis. Being an artistic person, Rachel enjoyed numerous outlets for her creativity. She grew up spending lots of time dancing. Later on, she developed a love for arranging flowers, and crafting. She was a good singer and with her quick wit, she was good at telling jokes and stories. Her laugh was very catchy; when you heard it, you couldn't keep yourself from joining her. It was not uncommon for Rachel to start her day with a good cup of coffee and end it with a bowl of Blue Bell ice cream.

Rachel was adventurous. She enjoyed trying new foods and had a knack for picking good places to eat. She saw life from a different point of view. She never met a stranger and for those lucky to be called her friends, she was nonjudgmental and supportive. You could always count on Rachel to be in your corner. Her family describes her as very protective of her boys and always ready to fight for you. Many went to her for advise knowing that even if she didn't agree, she would still be there for them. With Rachel, you always got the truth. She either really liked something or didn't and she wasn't shy about letting you know her opinion.

She leaves behind many friends and family that are going to miss her.
