Misty Adams

Misty Jo Adams entered the arms of her savior on Monday, December 29, 2025. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Tuscola Baptist Church at 1:30pm.

Misty was born on November 10, 1983 to Craig and Teresa at Nellis Air Force Base in Nevada. When she was 18 months old, the family moved to Clovis, New Mexico then later to Lubbock, Texas in the New Deal community where they resided twenty-five years. Her last move was to Tuscola, Texas.

Misty showed horses when she was younger and loved going to horse shows with her mom and Aunt Deborah. Misty enjoyed gaming and traveling to new places. She loved people, animals, and spending time with her family. She gave her life to Christ and was baptized June 3, 2012 at Community Bible Church in Spur, Texas. Misty spent many hours in dialysis. While there, she made many friends who became like family to her and she treated them as such. She was involved with her church as much as she was able and loved them like family as well.

Misty is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather, both of her maternal grandparents, her Uncle Bruce Stewart, and Aunt Rhonda Adams Norland.

She is survived by her mom and dad, her sister Erica Adams Lawrence, her niece Haley Lawrence Madrid, two nephews Cameron and Wyatt Lawrence, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
