Marion Graham

October 28, 1925 — December 18, 2015

CEDAR GAP: Marion Graham, 90, passed away on Friday, December 18, 2015 at a local medical facility. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, December 20, 2015 at 3:00 pm in the Cedar Gap Cemetery, directed by Fry~Smith Funeral Home, Tuscola.

Marion was born in Cedar Gap on October 28, 1925 to Jeff and Lillie (Linville) Graham. He attended Cedar Gap School.

Marion served in the United States Army during WWII while three of his brothers were also serving. Marion served in Germany and Europe. Upon his return from the war, he followed in the family business of farming and ranching.

He lived his love, which was farming and ranching, planting crops, raising cattle, and gardening. He was the happiest when taking care of the family land that had been in the Graham family since the late 1880’s. His favorite part of ranching was tending to his cattle herd. He had a talent caring for and raising orphaned calves on bottles.

He is survived by his sister-in-law Lorraine Graham of Tuscola; nephew, Charles Graham of Amarillo; four nieces, Elizabeth Cook of Fort Worth, Mary Nell Duvall of Pampa, Vickie Lenez Graham of Tuscola, and Tommie Holley of Tuscola; several great nieces and nephews, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and four brothers, Ben, Tom, Ray and Bill Graham.
