Jeanette Corolyn (Bosi) Gastelum

February 11, 1945 — October 27, 2017

Jeanette Bosi Gastelum, 72, won her battle against breast cancer and gained her angel wings on Friday, October 27, 2017. She was surrounded by her family and passed away peacefully in the comfort of her home.

Jeanette was born on February 11, 1945, in San Fernando, California to Aldo Bosi and Pauline Flynn.

Family and friends always came first with Jeanette- her loyalty was undeniable and her love was infectious. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was her favorite thing to do. She enjoyed taking trips, going to the races, visiting loved ones and just being happy. Jeanette never met a stranger that didn't feel like a friend when they left.

Jeanette was “The Voice of Re/Max” for almost 20-years, and loved her job dearly. She enjoyed the daily interaction she had with her co-workers and clients. Jeanette had the ability to brighten everyone’s day by making them laugh and smile, whether they walked through the door or called on the phone.

Jeanette was survived by her three children, Chad Clegg and wife Tina of Abilene, Staci Vance and husband Ernest of Abilene, and Chris Gastelum and wife Lauren of Lubbock, along with her pride and joys, grandchildren Mathew, Cayla, Cali, Lettie, Brennan, Jaklyn, Blane, and Beckett. Her brother, John Bosi and wife Kathleen of Sequim, Washington, sister, Pauli Jean Flynn of Council Bluffs, Iowa, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Jeanette was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.

Services for Jeanette will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, November 4, 2017, in the chapel at Southern Hills Church of Christ, directed by Fry~Smith Funeral Home, Tuscola.

In lieu of flowers, Jeanette’s wishes were to have donations made to Hospice of the Big Country.
