ABILENE: Jason Rigstad, 46, passed away on Tuesday, April 26th, 2022. Graveside service will be at Poe Prairie Cemetery in Millsap, Texas on Tuesday, May 3, 2022, at 2 PM, directed by Fry~Smith Funeral Home, Tuscola, Texas.
Jason was born in Trenton, Michigan to Donald and Sharon (Fann) Rigstad. He attended school in Texas and left for the construction industry and dabbled in motorcycle mechanics. His true dream was to be a tattoo artist.
When Jason was eleven years old, he declared he was going to be a tattoo artist and motorcycle enthusiast. He spent time in local tattoo shops learning the trade of tattooing. When not in the tattoo shops he could be found in the Harley shops turning wrenches on the legendary bikes.
Jason became an award-winning tattoo artist. He fulfilled his dream and opened a shop in Abilene called Kreative Kustom's that offered custom tattoos and Harley-Davidson motorcycle repairs. He loved cruising on his Harley. Jason and his girlfriend, Rebecca Barker, passed away together doing what they loved best , riding on their Harley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Rigstad.
He is survived by his mother, Sharon Schwochow (Harold), stepmother, Rita Rigstad. Children Donnie Rigstad (Teri Jo), David Rigstad (Ann), Kylie, Lryic and Kristian. Grandchildren Cameron, Kingsley, and Aiden. Sister, Jina Womack (Chris), brothers Jeff Rigstad (Gina), Donnie Rigstad and Gary Rigstad (Dusty), and several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
