Frederico Lerma Perales

December 7, 1945 — February 6, 2016

Frederico (Freddy) Perales, 70, beloved father, brother and uncle, was called to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, February 6, 2016. A funeral service will held at 10:00am Friday, February 12, 2016 at Shining Star Baptist Church, Dr. Richard Darden officiating, directed by Fry~Smith Funeral Home, Tuscola. Burial with military honors will be held at 12:00pm at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery. A visitation for Freddy will be held on Thursday, February 11 at Shining Star Baptist Church from 5 to 7pm.

The fifth of twelve children, Frederico was born to Pete and Helena (Lerma) Perales on December 7, 1945 in Floresville, TX.

He served in the Army from 1965 to 1967. Freddy loved God, his country and his family so very much. He was a barber by trade, and throughout his career owned various barber shops, including a barber college, in Abilene, shops in Brady and Brownwood.

He enjoyed many pastimes, which include competition archery. He will be missed deeply by all those who knew and loved him.

Freddy is survived by his son, Freddie Perales Jr. and fiancée Kirstin Lotti of McKinney; daughter, Maxine Hill and husband Kerry; son, Michael Perales and wife Becca Perales all of Weatherford; his grandchildren, Austin Hill of Denton, Garret Hill, Michaela Perales, Max Perales, Emma Perales and Kaiden Hill, all of Weatherford; five brothers and four sisters and many extended family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Frances Strodtman and Lolita Perales.
