Frank F. Dick, Sr., a devoted husband, daddy, pepaw, brother, son, and friend, was promoted to glory on September 14, 2024, at the Hendrick Hospice Center in Abilene,TX. A visitation will be held at the Fry-Smith Funeral Home in Tuscola, Texas on Thursday, September 19, 2024 from 6-8pm. A service to celebrate Frank's life will then be held at First Baptist Church in Tuscola, on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 2pm. The family invites friends and loved ones to join them in honoring Frank's memory.

Born on November 16, 1949, Frank lived a life marked by service, dedication, faith, and deep personal connections. Frank was a lifelong resident of Tuscola, TX. He attended South Taylor Elementary School and Jim Ned High School before serving his country as a proud Army Veteran. After his honorable discharge from the military service, Frank spent many years in the oilfield running drill stem testing. He then finished his career with Rentech Boiler Systems, where he was well-regarded for his work ethic and commitment.

Frank was a pillar of his community, actively involved with the First Baptist Church of Tuscola. There, he established the Powerhouse Team, was chairman of the personnel committee, and was a part of the Jail Ministry, reflecting his strong faith in the Lord, and desire to serve others. His dedication to service extended beyond the church, touching many lives through his involvement and volunteer efforts at On The Way Home Ministries.

Frank is survived by his loving wife, Rita; children Frank Dick, Jr. and Erika Larson, Angela and Heath Jones, and Lesley Young; his grandchildren Austin and Emily Dick, Kamryn Dick, Madison Wojciechowski, Alexander Larson-Dick, Rayleigh Jones, and Chandler Jones. He is also survived by his siblings Danny Dick, Mary Ruth Cozby, and Bartley Dick; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his parents, George and Mary Dick; his siblings George

Raymond Dick and Deana Newman; his father and mother-in-law, Delbert and Louise Brooks; his sister-in-law, Liz Brooks, his brother-in-law, Delbert "Bubba" Brooks, Jr; and his great-grandbabies Grayson and Liam Dick.

Frank was known by all for his warmth and genuine kindness. He never met a stranger and was deeply respected by all who knew him. His roles as a husband, father, and friend were cherished, and his legacy of love and devotion will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Frank's spirit and his commitment to those he loved will continue to inspire and be remembered with great affection. Rest in peace, Frank. You will be deeply missed.

The family would like to extend a special thank you for the loving care and kindness provided by the staff at Hendrick Medical Center North C-6, Encompass Rehabilitation Center, and Hendrick Hospice Care. They deeply appreciate the guidance provided by Dr. Melnyk and his entire medical team, Dr. Victor Hudman, Pam Light, and Karen Tucek.
