Edward Leroy Hart

Retired MSgt., Edward Leroy Hart, 89, of Tuscola, died unexpectedly on May 28, 2026, at a Marble Falls hospital.

Ed was preceded in death by his wife, Patty Jean (Turner) Hart, parents, Earl and Ada (Graves) Hart, sisters, Darlene Kincaid and Joyce Sevier and brother-in-law Louie Sevier.

He is survived by a daughter, Gay Cochran and husband Russell of Marble Falls; son, Eddie Hart and wife Amy of Clyde; grandchildren, Kalynda Palacios (Jesus), Nicole Hamann (Andrew); Landon Hart, Kailey Hart; a sister, Anna Purdon, 3 great-granddaughters, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ed proudly served his country for 23 1/2 yrs. in the USAF as a civil engineer. During that time, he served a tour in Vietnam as well as getting the adventure of tours in several other countries.

A ceremony honoring Ed's life will be held on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at the Texas State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene.
