Suzanne Welborne

Edna Suanne Welborne, 83, of Irving, Texas, died in Irving on January 28, 2026. The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 4 at 10:30am at Restland Funeral Home, Cemetery and Crematory at the Wildwood Chapel with a burial to follow on the property.

She was born in Dallas, Texas in 1942 to Edna and Lamond St. Clair, and has a sister, Kay Bond. Suzanne attended Mineral Wells High School in Mineral Wells, Texas before studying education at the University of North Texas. She taught at junior high and high school levels in the Hurst, Euless, Bedford, Texas school district for 32 years. She primarily taught English and French.

She was preceded in death by Gerald Welborne (husband) and is survived by Elisa Stehling (daughter), Patrick Welborne (son), Leslie Welborne (daughter-in-law), and grandchildren Sarah Stehling, Christina Stehling, Grace Stehling, Brittan Welborne, and Kieran Welborne.
