Allen Lynn Warner, a loving and devoted son, husband, father, uncle, and papa passed after a long fought battle with lung cancer on June 3, 2025. A visitation will be held Thursday June 12, 2025 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the Fry-Smith Funeral Home in Tuscola. Funeral Service will be held at the Abilene State Veterans Cemetery in Abilene, Texas Friday June 13, 2025 at 11:00am.
Allen was born to Tony L. and Annette D. Warner on November 29, 1959 when his father gave him the nickname Moose. He was the eldest of their 3 boys. He graduated High School from James Whitcomb Riley High School in South Bend, Indiana in 1978. After High School, Al went into the US Air Force where he served as a fuels specialist. Upon retiring from the Air Force, Al became a Truck Driver for Ploof Truck Lines later becoming Cypress Trucking. He then worked for ACME Brick and then to Ryder Integrated.
Al loved to travel always driving back home to South Bend, Indiana to visit his family. He was outgoing and always the life of the party, always making sure he was grilling up something. He loved cooking where he showed his passion and teaching his daughter and grandsons a few tricks up his sleeve. He loved spending time with his wife and always making sure she was well taken care of. He enjoyed watching his grandsons play sports and always being there when he could.
He leaves behind his mother Annette Warner, wife Rebecca (Becky) Warner, son David Eric Starbuck, daughter Teresa Clark, grandsons Anthony, Zachary (Rachel), Joey, and Jayden Clark, 2 great grandchildren Ava and Brayson, and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Tony Warner, son in law Tony Clark, and nephew Ryan Warner.
He will be missed dearly. We love you Moose keep that fire lit we will see you when we get there.
