Alexia Holloway

Alexia Holloway, 43, beloved Daughter, Mother, Sister, Niece, Cousin, Granddaughter, and Aunt, was called to her eternal resting place on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. A visitation will be held on Sunday, May 18, 2025 at Fry-Smith Funeral Home from 1:30-4:00pm. A graveside service will be held at the Tuscola Cemetery on Monday, May 19, 2025 at 1:00pm.

She entered this world on December 19, 1981 in Colorado City, TX, born to Jeff and Karen Maeckel. Lexi loved hunting arrowheads and hanging out with her friends. She also enjoyed art. Whether it was diamond art, carving, wood burning, or writing, if it was artsy, she was willing.

Lexi was willing to admit when she was wrong. A funny memory the family has of this is when Lexi decided to "sit out" some traffic tickets. Knowing what this meant, Lexi decided to turn herself in wearing orange. After she showed up, she changed out of her orange and into the county's orange. This was how she was. She took the opportunity to poke fun at the situation she got herself in and show off a little.

She is survived by her daughter Missy Barker;  father Jeff Maeckel;  mother Karen Toms; step-father Frank Toms; brother Steven Holloway; sister Mary Bailey; aunt Lyla Holloway; sister-in-law Debbie Holloway; cousins Dylan Barker, Cameron Bailey, and Trinity Holloway; step-sister Devin Hannah Toms; sister Sherry Maeckel Williams; grandmother Jody Maeckel; aunt Janice Cowan; brother Jeffery Don Maeckel; nephews Saxon Maeckel and Draven Maeckel; and nieces Logan Williams and Reagan Airheart.
