Brenda Sue (Lamb) Clarkson

BUFFALO GAP: Brenda Sue (Lamb) Clarkson passed away on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at a local medical facility. She was surrounded by her family at her time of passing. A graveside service will be held on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at 10:00am in the Oplin cemetery, officiated by Matt Smith, directed by Fry-Smith Funeral Home, Tuscola. A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 2nd, from 5 to 7pm at the funeral home in Tuscola.

Miss Brenda was born on May 22, 1958 in Lockhart to Roscoe and Joy (Millican) Lamb. She was a classic military brat moving across the country and world with her father’s Air Force career.

Miss Brenda worked for Bearing Supply and the Barbecue Barn she later worked in Home Healthcare which she found to be her calling. She was forced into retirement because of her own health issues.

She married Billy Clarkson and they enjoyed eighteen years together. Billy, just like her father, career took them all over the country, she always looked forward to the next stop and their next adventure.

She loved the outdoors and loved to cook, often cooking for an army when it was only Billy and herself. Her favorite time was always at the lake, any lake, and being in the sun. Her favorite pastime was shopping for shoes.

She is survived by her husband Billy Clarkson: son, Jade Lamb and wife Neisha and their son Lyric: daughter, Delilah Walker and husband Rob and their son Thomas; brothers, Billy Lamb, Donny Lamb and wife Stacey, and Johnny Lamb and wife Michelle; and many nieces and nephews she loves as if they were her own children

Brenda was preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Joyce Lambert and Judy Lynn Griffing , brother, Ricky Lamb, niece Stephanie Lamb, and Nephew Nathan Hooper.
